Being an artist is who I am……Living life to the beat of my own drum! This sometimes make things difficult but never boring. As a young Mom, I discovered my calling as a photographer. That was about 26 years ago! YIKES!!! I cut my teeth on Weddings, lots and lots of weddings. It taught me to make beautiful photos in any situation imaginable. After a few years, I started shooting portraits. Senior portraits are definitely a niche, but I also enjoy photographing family’s and children. My latest offering’s include Boudoir, Modern Glam and Fashion!

Over the course of my career, I’ve studied with, and my style has been influenced by some of the great photographers of this generation. They include photographic artist Joyce Wilson, Harper’s Bazaar Fashion photographer Barbara Bordnick, Denis Reggie (photographed JFK JRs. wedding) and most notably Douglas Kirkland who’s career has spanned generations. He has photographed Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, the iconic image from “Titanic” with Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio at the front of the ship… I could go on….

When I started my business over 2 decades ago, digital photography hadn’t even been invented. Using a square format Hasselblad and retouching images with dyes and a paint brush. I remember when digital was first introduced to a small group of Bay Area Photographers in the Santa Cruz mountains. Kodak brought out the very first digital camera and printer into the woods and it was magic!

As a lover of all things fashion, I collect unique pieces of clothing, jewelry and fabrics to style photo shoots. Including a large selection of vintage lingerie, furs, bohemian necklaces, body jewelry, belts and more. Styling can be added upon request.
